Posted: 30 Apr 2019 10:44 AM PDT How do I "make sure"* I am "in sync"? I see a lot of documentation saying "make sure..." without any "by doing". Mostly this relates to "sync"ing. Help is no help in this regard as it merely says "make sure", again, with no "by doing". The Ethereum Wallet app itself has a "NOTE" that says: "If your balance doesn't seem updated, make sure that you are in sync with the network." *"make sure that..." with no subsequent "by doing..." is a pervasive problem with technical documentation. Posted: 30 Apr 2019 10:41 AM PDT Imagine I want to create two different ERC-20 tokens. One named XXX and the other one named YYY. Am I creating two tickers? I feel that the word tickers is just about the acronyms. Am I creating two standards of tokens ? I feel the word standard is used to refer to ERC-20 in this case. Am I creating two types of tokens ? Again, I feel this might conflict with the ERC-20 notion. Am I creating two blockchains? I don't feel like I am since it's on ethereum. Am I creating two brands of tokens? I feel this word reflects perfectly what I'm trying to say but I don't think it's used. Am I creating two systems of tokens? I can't simple say I'm creating two tokens: it would be confusing because I'm creating millions of tokens of both Thus my question : What is the right word to designate an ensemble of token created on a certain standard (e.g. ERC-20)?
