SUB is a scam, TRX is a joke. But this is deadly serious: Posted: 05 Apr 2019 05:57 AM PDT Apparently one of the most draconian censorship bills out there, the "Copyright Directive," was just passed by the EU parliament, basically behind closed doors. It's the worst. "Link taxes," mandated upload filters, the works. It's a gigantic corporate enrichment act and it basically will destroy the internet as we know it, particularly for those unfortunate enough to be in the EU. I see projects like Tron and Substratum who bill themselves as being purveyors if a decentralized internet, but let's get real - both are ridiculous scams, jokes at best. Are there any projects out there that will actually address this kind of draconian bullshit? Crypto and blockchain is well positioned for this, but there's a lot of shitcoin nonsense out there and I'm not sure where the serious work is being done. [link] [comments]

Is there a service where 2 people can trade different cryptos to eachother trustlessly Posted: 05 Apr 2019 11:29 PM PDT Maybe I'm retarded. But hear me out for a minute. Let's pretend I have some crappy Bytecoin. If someone I meet online in the forums wants to trade my Bytecoin for their 0x, how would we do this trustlessly? Does a service exits where I can send X BCN, and if they actually send their Y 0x, we both get sent our traded cryptos. But if one or both of the parties doesn't send, or sends the wrong amount, the trade is void and the users get back their currency. Maybe something like this exists, if it does please let me know. If something like this doesn't exist, at this point I'm kinda shocked. I would think Shapeshift or Changelly would get on top of this type of "trade" system. Why not sell my BCN for BTC and buy 0x? Too many steps and multiple exchanges are required. A trade system where you can trust someone online with no worries would be handy for these out there cryptos. [link] [comments]
