Bitcoin Lightning Network vs Nano - Video explanation and demonstration Posted: 22 Feb 2019 06:57 PM PST Here is a video demonstration of some of the differences between Bitcoin's Lightning Network and Nano: I also made a comparison chart in Excel for people who prefer pictures: https://i.imgur.com/a6i3YXJ.jpg Tl;Dr: The Lightning Network is an important innovation for Bitcoin, but it suffers from a lot of user experience issues that Nano doesn't have. Hopefully good wallets can abstract away some of the complexity, but viable alternatives like Nano do exist. What do you think? I welcome all feedback or criticism! [link] [comments]

Don't use Robinhood for Cryptocurrency Posted: 22 Feb 2019 10:44 AM PST They do not allow you to transfer your crypto to your private wallets. You can only sell it back to the platform. I wouldn't go so far as calling it a scam but they definitely go out of their way to bury this information. https://support.robinhood.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001284443-Cryptocurrency-Transfers-and-Deposits At some point they might allow it, but they don't at the moment. Remember: Not your keys. Not your crypto. [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Feb 2019 10:21 PM PST What are yall's thoughts on the Ledger Nano X? I'm considering either buying it or the Nano S. Do you think the X is more vulnerable due to the fact that it has bluetooth? I'm new to cryptocurrency and just curious. Correct me if i'm wrong but I feel like having bluetooth on a hardware wallet does actually make it more vulnerable and kinda defeats the purpose of a hardware wallet but idk.
