- Last night I was watching a documentary on the drug trade and how they move their cocaine (irrelevant to xrp). There was one part of this whole ripple/xrp thing I have never really thought about and just how much instant settlement could speed things up. International freight and shipping.

Not sure if that is meeting, or beating their initial expectations. To me and this is just my non expert opinion, it appears adoption is very low, which is odd considering XRP's following. I looked at the port and thought I bet these huge companies would want instant/error proof international settlement. Especially the overnight services. The trickle down effect would be measurable. They could move products faster without being delayed. Im not talking about you sending a xbox you sold to some bloke on eBay. International car companies, industrial parts anything ect. Surely this is a massive market thats begging at the end of the day.......like everyone who is frustrated with SWIFT....to get paid on time. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Questions about XRP (rich list and speed test) Posted: 18 Dec 2018 02:51 AM PST I was wondering if there is any info out there about the top 5 XRP addresses? They havnt been flagged as exchanges but have about 18billion XRP between them - Are these the founders XRP addresses or banks or something? Has there been a speed test on the XRPL to test the 1500tps over a longish period? What was with the fee spike at the end of last year? Looks to have gone to .2ish XRP per transaction? Was it due to overload or something else.. Looking to invest but not sure about the tokens distribution :o The rich list say there is 47billion xrp in circulation but CMC shows only 40billion?
