Pay for reliable node-as-a-service? Posted: 08 Dec 2018 07:11 AM PST I'm using Metamask with Oasis and unfortunately Infura is overloaded, so sometimes the Oasis application doesn't work reliably. Is there a service provider for Ethereum node services I can point Metamask to instead of Infura? I'd be happy to pay a monthly service fee. I can try running my own node again if I have to, but I have a rather small SSD and would just as soon pay a provider for a fee. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Dec 2018 08:03 PM PST The private key to this Ethereum public key 44C658ca4b8b7D27d1e0270A438aAc6702761962 is at the end of the treasure hunt. Good luck! Start with the sum of human knowledge. Do you think you know Satoshi Nakamoto? You do not understand. Nzabo is the man. A citation is needed, the first will do. How bigg is the treasure? 5 years ago we knew. Do the rest from where you stand. Protocol: https Domain: lastmjs.github.io Path: The first then the last. The second then the thirty-second. The third then the fourth. [link] [comments]

Parallel processing smart contracts in the EVM Posted: 08 Dec 2018 03:11 PM PST Hey guys, I'm new to this sub but had a question about Ethereum's VM processing bottleneck issue. Would it be possible to add a clause to any smart contract specifying the number of nodes they would like to have process the contract, and would this allow for parallel processing?
In theory the random assignment of nodes to a smart contract on a network of sufficient size would insure that no one malicious actor could process his/her own contract. This would also allow network participants to pay for the level of "certainty" (number of nodes) they would like a contract processed with. Like I said, I am new to all this and am almost certain that there is an error I am overlooking and would love to get some feedback [link] [comments]

ERC721 Validator - any experience with it? Posted: 08 Dec 2018 01:47 PM PST So I've been looking into this erc721 Ethereum standard for non-fungible tokens ( NFT ), the more I read about their applications the more interesting it gets. [link] [comments]

USDC erc20 token transfer to cobo cloud wallet Posted: 08 Dec 2018 05:13 PM PST Hiya. Sent through usdc from kucoin about 16 hours ago to my cobo cloud usdc address. When I check the transaction history in etherscan it says I sent to a contract address and it was also successfully sent to my cloud address. Over 16 hours and nothing showed up in my cobo cloud address. Is it normal to take so long to show up after everything is successful according to etherscan? Thanks [link] [comments]

Metamask on 2 computer - New password..? Posted: 08 Dec 2018 11:59 AM PST I understand I can import my wallet using my seed phrase... but asks for a new password on the second computer. Does that affect the password on the other computer w/ the same seed? [link] [comments]

Solidity Constructor Parameter Question Posted: 08 Dec 2018 01:57 PM PST Can someone list the parameter types accepted by a constructor in solidity .. in particular, can we do something like passing a contract in a constructor's parameter list, for example: contract contractA{ constructor (uint id,) public{} } contract contractB{ contactA contractAReal; constructor (contactA metaContractA) public{ contactAReal = metaContractA; } } contact contractC{ function testFunction(uid id) public{ contractA metaContractA = new contractA(); contractB metaContractB = new contractB(metaContractA); } } [link] [comments]
