Question about Block-Mode Counter (CTR): Why is it used as a Stream, and why is the Plaintext mixed with the output after encryption rather than before? Posted: 11 Dec 2018 03:07 PM PST https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block_cipher_mode_of_operation#Counter_(CTR) Doesn't it make way more sense, and provide way more security, to mix the [PT, IV, and CTR] before encryption?
