| Why Can't Public Blockchain Exist Without Crypto? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 10:45 AM PST so I have heard tons of arguments about how public blockchain need cryptocurrencies in order to maintain its stability because every validator/node needs to be 'incentivized' economically. otherwise it's not sustainable. But then, I come across XRP and some other public blockchain projects and found out they actually don't really incentivize the validators/nodes. Using the same logic, why can't anyone create a public blockchain without any token? so we eliminate the 'volatile' aspect of this amazing technology [link] [comments]  | ||
