Vitalik at Devcon 4: Bring your own signing algorithm? What was is this called?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2018 05:10 PM PST

At Devcon 4, Vitalik mentioned that there were some implementation thoughts that would allow you to use any signature algorithm to account. I find this idea quite crazy. Does anyone know what this is called? Is there a blog post on it/ more readings?

Vitalik: things like abstraction that what would allow people to use whatever signature algorithms they wanted for their accounts which could provide post quantum security it would make it easier to make privacy solutions

Need Help With Setting Up Multisig Wallet Contract

    Posted: 04 Nov 2018 01:33 PM PST

guys, I need help with setting up ETH multisig wallet contract. I used Mist and I think it's very newbie-friendly. However, there are 3 issues that I encountered:

    1. I cannot set up more than 7 owners of the same multisig wallet contract. How/where to edit this?

    2. I can edit the smart contract and under 'Select function' I can 'Remove Owner'. This is not something that I want. I want not to be able to touch the smart contract again after I deploy it. How to do that?

    3. How do I access the same multisig wallet contract from other platform? For example, I can easily access my private key from myetherwallet and access the same personal wallet from metamask. If I want to 'export' this same multisig wallet contract to be used in another platform (outside Mist), how to do that?

**If there's no satisfying answer to the 3 points above, can you guys recommend me another newbie-friendly platform to set up multisig wallet contract? Thank you

    ASIC for EVM/WASM?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2018 08:41 AM PST

Are there already ideas and approaches to realize the interpretation and execution via the hardware? Similar to application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) but only for EVM/WASM without mining?

    Moving tokens from address

    Posted: 04 Nov 2018 08:03 AM PST

Can you move tokens from an address that has only the tokens and no ethereum?

Because I don't really understand if they can be sent by paying a fee with the tokens themselves
