- The @openbazaar mobile app will be unlike anything else out there. It will be a crypto ‘super-Dapp’ bringing together commerce, social, chat, & a multi-currency/token wallet. It will also be a platform for 3rd party services & Dapps to extend the utility of crypto.

Posted: 24 Nov 2018 07:05 PM PST None of the SV aggressive fanbois can't even explain why the SV code is technically worthy to move all my operations on a centralized chain of a minority fork where Nchain literally owns the hashrate, development and all the businesses of that silly chain. What. The. Fuck. [link] [comments]

The biggest problem in Bitcoin is misinformation Posted: 24 Nov 2018 11:10 AM PST BTC got derailed, so BCH continued it.. now BSV comes along and is causing more problems. If everyone in the world understood the idea of "peer to peer electronic cash", we wouldn't have a problem. So much propaganda and idiocracy to contend with. [link] [comments]

Just a small suggestion to improve our community Posted: 24 Nov 2018 12:57 PM PST I'm thinking that we should perhaps stop giving attention to anti-BCH people because the comments tend to degenerate into bitter/negative tones. I am also guilty of making this mistake but I come to realize that these would be bad reading for new people coming in, reading a bunch of negative/bitter/toxic comments and then leave the BCH community. Maybe we should focus all our energy on rebuilding BCH. Our community has been through some hard times and I feel we need some positivity and optimism rather than these sort of things. Otherwise, new people come into BCH and all they see is a bunch of negative grouchy bunch of folks. Do you think they will stay? I mean, if you have 2 group of friends, one group is always bitterly complaining while the other group is always excited about new possibilities/ideas/improvements... which group of friends would you want to hang out with? BCH and BSV has split and we should move on, no point holding on to any ill feelings, afterall both camps have similar objectives when it comes to peer to peer cash (just different ways of doing it). Let's together try to make this community a positive, optimistic, wonderful experience to build peer to peer cash for the world. Let's give more attention to the developers who are doing great stuff, like the recent idea from Jonathan on improving BCH against hostile miners. Let's give attention to the awesome folks who are building products and services on top of BCH, like honest.cash or gateway.cash. They are the ones worthy of our time and attention because their work increase value for all BCH investors. [link] [comments]

Craig Wright and Jihan Weren't Kidding Posted: 24 Nov 2018 08:01 PM PST They really are battling to the death, and they're bringing this whole crypto space down with it. I didn't think Jihan was serious when he said it would breach the $5k support, and he was spot-on. They are battling to the death with a scorched earth policy in effect. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Nov 2018 02:48 PM PST The reason I ask is that I'm hearing a lot about how ABC is thinking about changing the consensus protocol. I'm not sure if it's just SV trolls or if we are making huge changes. [link] [comments]
Reminder that the hashwar was stupid Posted: 24 Nov 2018 04:46 PM PST Just need to reiterate this point as there are a few people still following Faketoshis logic. The longest chain of work matters for transaction ordering but is never used for choosing what rule set to follow. The nodes determine the rules and the miners determine the transaction ordering. Mining was never a factor in determining what ruleset is in use. Just repeating this because for some really odd reason people are trying to claim that miners are the only ones that matter. They play a small part. The users/market decides what nodes to use and that determines what network your using. This idea that you can force all stakeholders in the system (end users, exchanges, businesses, etc...) To use your node/software/ruleset is not in the whitepaper and in some ways it's Craig Wright doing his revisionist history. Mining is never used to force a particular codebase into use, that's for all stakeholders to decide. Mining only matters for transaction ordering. In all honesty the market had already decided on ABC before the hashwar. So in reality the hashwar was completely pointless as miners can not force a user base into running code. This is why Bitcoin Cash has been taking a large hit reputation wise in the crypto scene. Both sides are being led by liars who are trying to convince people that the longest chain of work has more importance than it actually does. This is not a mining attack but rather a social attack. Keep that in mind. The only attack here is social manipulation. [link] [comments]
Is this true - Coin dance: it is 2.8% more profitable to mine BTC than BCH? Posted: 25 Nov 2018 12:42 AM PST As per title? Is that true? If so how is that not big news? Been away for a while. Would that not mean BTC will be practically dead? Thank you [link] [comments]
