As a 2013 Hodler, here are some observations of what's going on: Posted: 26 Nov 2018 09:23 AM PST Here are some points so here it goes:
The market is very easily to manipulate, it always has been since there is little regulation and oversight on the whole thing. It is a day trader's dream with no regulations and manipulating the market whenever there is an event going on unlike the restrictions placed by the SEC on the stock market. Put in what you can afford to lose. This means if you throw in $100 on BTC or any crypto consider it gone. This will help ease the mind. When I first started I stared at the numbers going up and down and getting worried all the time. Some advice I read was "Don't worry about the price, if you believe in the future you have nothing to worry about." If you truly believe in the project you really have nothing to worry about. Just wait and be patient. 2020 will be the next interesting time for Bitcoin. [link] [comments]

Anyone else tired of their parents sending you articles on "The Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme" Posted: 26 Nov 2018 10:22 PM PST Just wanted to see out there if anyone else is tired of their loved ones sending them negative articles about Bitcoin. There is always nothing substantial about them and they are always just pure conjecture. Usually from some old guy who never dives into the tech of Bitcoin and just calls it a pyramid scheme. Just got a text with this article below. I'm really sick of getting these links sent to me. On the bright side Bitcoin obituaries is getting more links. https://nypost.com/2018/11/26/the-bitcoin-pyramid-scheme-continues-to-collapse/ [link] [comments]

Times have been tough, how about some holiday cheer? Free Reddit gold for the community Posted: 26 Nov 2018 07:36 AM PST Usually this time of the year I'd be dropping my apparel brand's discounts for cyber monday in the community but I can't imagine anyone is feeling like spending very much money right now! So, how about instead, I do something for you? I purchased 40,000 Reddit coins and will be gifting them out to anyone that replies! I hope you all have a nice holiday. Edit: Switching from Reddit gold to silver to accommodate more. Reddit changed their gift system, it appears. Edit2: I need to work for a while but will return. We have passive aggressive people downvoting others, if people could upvote each other that'd be great. Edit3: Bought more and have returned, huzzah! Giving away gold and silver. Edit4: People think I'm rich or something. I definitely am not. You can read about my situation here actually. Edit5: People shared:

November is a tough month for Cryptocurrencies Posted: 27 Nov 2018 02:48 AM PST

Posted: 27 Nov 2018 03:32 AM PST I think I'm not the only one who is interested in the safe storage of cryptocurrencies. There are many ways. Among other things, wallets such as ledger can provide me with a certain level of security. But in the trading process I have to send funds to the stock exchange and trust another security system until the funds are withdrawn. I wonder if there are exchanges or ways other than the well-known ones. This solution comes to mind. The funds stay with the owner until the buyer / seller accepts the transaction, and the exchange acts as only an intermediary (of course, the funds on the stock exchange itself should be able to deposit funds for fees). Is solution like this already implemented ? Please write your thoughts, ideas or advises. [link] [comments]

Hacker Backdoors JavaScript Library to Steal Bitcoin Funds Posted: 26 Nov 2018 02:53 PM PST A hacker has gained (legitimate) access to a popular JavaScript library and has injected malicious code that steals Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash funds stored inside BitPay's Copay wallet apps. The presence of this malicious code was identified last week, but until Nov 26, have researchers been able to understand what the heavily obfuscated malicious code actually does. [link] [comments] |
