After this hashwar is over, I would like to appeal to BCH supporters to thank Bitcoin.com and Bitmain and other hashrates contributors.

They have done a great job and the least we can do is to support their businesses, give them 5 star ratings on app stores for their products, spend your BCH buying their products, make donations to their wallets, etc.

They have earned massive respect after this event and if anything, I will be their loyal customers for years to come.

Now that the hardfork is past, if I exchange my BCH back to BTC, can I still claim my BCHabc / BCHsv?

    Posted: 16 Nov 2018 11:11 AM PST

The solution to the secret chain attack is simple and was described and researched by Vitalik and ETH years ago. No checkpoints needed.

What does the BCH fork mean in terms of buying a cup of coffee?

    Posted: 16 Nov 2018 02:15 PM PST

Imagine hypothetically my Dad genuinely was trying to keep up with technology, and was trying to use Crypto instead of cash. The technology is 10 years old -- it's been around as long as the iPhone, it should be ready for consumers by now, right?

Let's say he bought $1000 of BCH a month ago, put it into a brand-new Trezor hardware wallet (I chose this because it's right at the top of the recommended hardware wallets). Now he wants to buy a cup of coffee from his local coffee shop. He's standing in front of the counter with his Trezor in his hand.

    SERIOUS QUESTIONS about his BCH.

    1. Did his BCH disappear from his Trezor?

    2. If not, can he still spend his BCH?

    3. If he can spend it, is it worth the same as it was before in "Cup of Coffee" terms?

And then... serious questions about the NEW forked currencies.

    1. Does he now hold BCH-SV and BCH-ABC?

    2. Does he have to do anything to access these, or do they appear automatically in his wallet?

    3. Can he spend these at the coffee shop today?

    4. All-in-all, has he made a nett gain or a nett loss in terms of overall "Cup of Coffee" spending power? Or no change?

These seem to be simple, practical, vital questions, and I'm not seeing any simple answers.

Instead of trying to destroy each other, let's become tight allies with Bitcoin SV and implement atomic swaps for liquidity purposes. After that, our proven socioeconomic dominance will allow us to rise to a level that can contend with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Cash Fork Complete, What Now?

About BCH hash war: It is plausible to assume that at least 30% of most ICOs (and therefore other coins) were funded using BTC/BCH. If we think about this relationship as some sort of "derivative", the impacts can be catastrophic! Makes sense?

Hours After Bitcoin Cash Network Update Begins, Bitcoin ABC Over 10 Blocks Ahead

The Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network update, which many predicted would lead to a hard fork, began as scheduled today, Nov. 15.

At press time, Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin Unlimited are currently leading Bitcoin SV in terms of both hash rate and number of nodes, according to Coin.Dance. Under the new consensus rules, 41 blocks have been already mined, wherein Bitcoin ABC is 12 blocks ahead.

The update has led cryptocurrency exchanges around the world to suspend BCH trading and withdrawals.

The news about the protocol upgrade has divided the BCH community in two camps as there are two dominating proposals for the implementation of the BCH network in the form of Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV (Satoshi's Vision).
