Friend just bought XRP from his stock broker. Weird? Posted: 05 Oct 2018 04:30 PM PDT My friend just told me he purchased 2k XRP from his stock broker. His broker told him he couldn't get him into crypto or discuss crypto unless he wrote him an email asking for it specifically. Any ideas why that would be? Also I wasn't aware stock brokers could do this? Edit: If a broker is buying crypto, where are they keeping it? Do these companies have individual wallets? [link] [comments] | ||

Wall st. opinion changes quickly Posted: 05 Oct 2018 10:29 AM PDT Remember when Amazon wasn't a good company to invest in according to Wall st. it was around 2014. Remember when according to Wall st. Ford was going bankrupt and was a terrible company to invest in when the 2009 crash happened? Two examples out of hundreds. Point is, wall st. Opinion changes quickly. Right now Wall St. is still on the fence about crypto. Some companies are in, some are out. At some point, this will change and everyone will be in. In 5 years, when prices are through the roof for the 15-20 crypto assets that make it, they will be you to telling buy. So you can either trust that this will make it in time, or you can sit on the sidelines and buy XRP at $5 ot more in 2 years when Bank of America not only has a portal for you to buy it, but also tells you it's a good investment. XRP/Ripple Charity Thought - Specifically Purchase Donation Round-Ups Posted: 05 Oct 2018 07:31 AM PDT I was thinking on Ripples donations and then my mind went to the round of purchases at stores that go to things like St. Jude, Teacher Associations, etc. I'm imagining a time in the future where your $3.50 coffee you bought with XRP or even USD where you have the option of rounding up to $4. That 0.50 cents could be immediately be sent to an xrp wallet account to the charity organization for use. This being especially helpful for charities based in Africa where that 0.50 cents can make a huge difference. I'm not sure exactly how it could be implemented, but I know those great minds at Ripple could figure it out! [link] [comments] |
