Posted: 04 Oct 2018 08:02 AM PDT A month ago Binacne blocked my old, active account that was 3d level verified and full of 1.2K BTC. The account was created and used for arbitrage on cryptocurrency markets and everything was good for a long time before Binance decided to block it. Since then I've had a long conversation with their representative where I provided all my documents (even more that it was necessary), passed video verification and fund verification as well. During our conversation they changed the reason for blocking my account a few times and as a conclusion it's still blocked. The first reason was "security" the last one was "law enforcement" which they don't want to connect me directly with. And you know what, I don't believe them at all.
My accounts on other exchanges are active, so, I'm just wondering for what reasons is Binance holding my money with no rules or reasons for it? I just kindly ask the official Binance representative to let me know that an investigtion about the account has beed started. u/Binance How long does it take to finally solve the issue with my account as they've had all the documents and information for more than a month? Is there anyone who's faced the same situation? What kind of actions should I take against Binance to get my funds back? [link] [comments]

Roger Ver Loses Bet about Lightning Network Posted: 05 Oct 2018 03:06 AM PDT Roger Ver made a bet with Charlie Lee yesterday that in 18 months, there wouldn't be more than 1,000 merchants accepting Bitcoin through the Lightning Network. Here is the youtube video where Charlie and Roger made the bet Coingate added 4,000 merchants that support Bitcoin payments via lightning. Roger already lost the bet I wish Roger would see that Lightning is good for all cryptocurrencies rather than being so antagonistic toward it. [link] [comments]

I just withdrew 1 Satoshi on LND Posted: 04 Oct 2018 06:38 PM PDT I've been playing around with LND for a while. Back in January I was probably one of the first few thousand people to use LN to buy a shirt and some stickers on blockstream. Since then I've downloaded bitcoin core on my windows PC and used Eclair occasionally on satoshis. place. I've recently set up a Bitcoin/LN node on a raspberry pi and have been messing around with 1 Satoshi payments here and there. Throughout all this, the awesomeness of it all hadn't hit me until today. I set up a thin client on my phone to connect with my node while I'm away (via port forwarding) and while I was picking up groceries (4 items that cost me about 40 bucks as it were) I withdrew a one Satoshi balance from zapread.com. I stood in the grocery line with a shit eating grin on my face not recognizing that the cashier was telling me to cough up my $40. As I inserted my card I realized that the act of receiving a single Satoshi was way more valuable than me purchasing my groceries (except for my my Mongo double IPAs, obviously).
