Rig does not boot. Mobo or PSU? Posted: 30 Sep 2018 06:42 AM PDT Currently at work for the next few hours so I figure maybe someone in the community has experienced this. Woke up in the morning and was checking on my rig and found it has restarted sometime in the morning. There was no power outage. Started loading ethpill and my mining program and my system shut down. Power button does nothing. If I wasn't working right now I'd test the PSU or head to a computer shop and buy parts to test. I don't see any lights on so I'm assuming it's the PSU. Anyone experience similar? Is it likely the PSU? Parts: Thermaltake gold, 1050w 3 1080 at 85% power, 1 970at 75% [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Sep 2018 06:00 AM PDT Hello, was wondering what you guys prefer and use to monitor your windows rigs via android app and while sitting on a desktop pc? I have a few rigs running ethos and their ethos monitoring app is amazing. I am looking for something similar to monitor my windows rigs. I was looking at minerstat but was not sure how good it was. RTX 2080 Ti - Mining Lyra2rev2 at 121MH/s! Posted: 29 Sep 2018 11:19 AM PDT Hey reddit, this is The Life of the Miner. I just wanted to share a quick update on mining on my RTX 2080 Ti. I started to test Lyra2rev2 first because it is the most profitable now. My computer is idle at 63W. Miner on stock settings 92.57MH/s @ 325W(whole system). 262W for GPU only. Core at +100 was 97.84MH/s @ 325W(whole system). 262W for GPU only. Playing with the OC and settings I was able to reach 121MH/s at 325W. This is at core +110 and intensity to 24. Trying to see the max first then will start lowering power draw. Video coming out soon and happy mining! Last video - r/https://youtu.be/qrJgUxMkm0o [link] [comments] |
WhatToMine website for nodes/staking coin. Posted: 29 Sep 2018 01:51 PM PDT Some of the coin that I've been mining has now move to a hybrid model (GPU minable + coin staking). I was curious if there's a website out there that behaves like WhatToMine but design for for calculating coin with staking and/or master nodes support. Pretty much a calculator that compare coins that support staking and nodes. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
