| Why do I have two Ripple addresses after getting a Vanity address? Posted: 09 Apr 2018 02:39 PM PDT Hope this isn't a silly or dangerous question. I got a Ripple vanity address a few months ago through xrpvanity. It created/found my vanity address. I was taken to a page where my secret was generated. I have secured the vanity address, the secret, and there's another 'r' address that was on that page. I've securely stored all three. The second 'r' address had a warning not to change it unless I knew what I was doing. I don't, so I didn't. I've successfully sent and received xrp using only my vanity and my secret. However, when I log into TheWorldExchange (using only my secret), it takes me to that second 'r' address. It reports a zero balance. If I try to log in with both my vanity address and my secret, it says they don't match. If I plug in just my public vanity address, I can see my balance but, without a matching secret, can't manipulate it. However, the vanity and secret work in my software wallet. Note: They send you an email with a link "to disable the original (master) key that we found when we mined the address." I'm pretty sure I clicked it, but I honestly can't recall.
