    Consider keeping TA to yourself.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 10:08 PM PDT

Honestly, TA is not that helpful in such a crazy market. If anything it will get new kids wrecked if they try to listen to random peoples TA posts. If you like to do TA you should do it for you and stop trying to promote that shit. Do it for YOU. Stop subjecting new kids to your "TA" when you actually don't know shit.

Why I've stopped checking XRP's price religiously

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 08:35 PM PDT

It may look and feel good when the price of XRP goes up by a few cents, but I have no intention to sell any time soon. On the contrary, I've set aside specific portions of my paycheck to continually invest. Thus, I absolutely love how low the price is currently and have learned to embrace and capitalize on the price dips.

I have completely confidence in XRP and wholeheartedly believe that global adoption (and subsequently, drastic price surge) is inevitable. If I'm wrong, a fraction of my paychecks would have been worth this opportunity.

But if I'm right, I'll see you all on the moon in 5 years. HODL on!

Best way to get into ripple?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 09:38 PM PDT

I'm in Canada and I want to know ehat are your suggestions on where to buy ripple with credit card.

I have never verified myself anywhere, but I think I will need to, how long does the verification process takes?

Also, is there fees for transferring ripple from an "account" to another one?

Where is the best way to store the ripple coins? I don't want usb keys, any recommendations on a desktop wallet, online wallet?

    Thanks!

Received a response from the Ledger CTO regarding extending trust lines on the XRP Ledger.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 07:52 AM PDT

Just got a response from the ledger CTO. While he admits his knowledge isn't as extensive as it could be, he shares what his concern is.

That being said I have to admit I'm venturing into territory above my paygrade and could use insight from the community as to exactly what this means. u/Sukrim maybe you could chime in here with your thoughts and if your previous comment/thoughts stand or not.

Does Ripple Labs have any plan to protect XRP's asset value from the cryptocurrency market volitility such as BTC?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 06:41 PM PDT

It seems to me if you own a company where you are doing your best to sell and gain value your roughly 95bn of xrp between the company, board, and partners... you probably don't want it to fluctuate from $0.25 to $3.50 to below $0.50. It turns away investors and potential partners. Although yes, I know, the volitility is for 3 seconds so price shouldn't matter... but it does. For the retail investor it does. For commercial investors it does. For partners that will hold xrp because they buy into the system, it matters for them too. And especially for Ripple's huge 95 bn xrp warchest, the price matters to them.

So I am wondering how Ripple plans to distance themselves from the cryptocurrency market volitility for the future. Seeing a crash like this was not good for the digital asset of xrp. Is there a plan?

Question about Allvor tokens / Trust lines.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 08:31 PM PDT

Yesterday, I claimed some Allvor coins by adding trust lines to my ripple wallet (Rippex Desktop Wallet). Can adding Trust Line for other tokens affect my XRP in any way ? Also, if I remove the trust lines for Allvor, will the ALV token still stay in my Ripple Wallet ?

    Ripple and the Banks

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 02:51 AM PDT

I've read a lot of stuff about Ripple partnering (or whatever it should be called) with banks and that this could drive up XRP's price. I've also read a lot of stuff saying that the ripple company is actually letting the banks use their tech and it will in no way impact the cost of XRP. I'd like to know the truth if anyone can supply it? General discussion about this issue would be nice as well.

For context I've bought some XRP to hedge my bets because, regardless of what happens with the crypto, I believe it will go up with all the other cryptos over the next year or so and I can sell it then if I wish. I try to stay generally emotionless and will only sell if I'm making a profit (never to mitigate losses).

So general discussion about Ripple and the banks they are partnering with. Will it effect XRP's price and how, with relevant links if possible.
