A cryptocurrency with several red flags. Posted: 31 Mar 2018 09:33 PM PDT Electroneum.
Am not looking to spread Fud. Will attach more evidences with time. Well, am open to counter arguments. Am not spreading FUD Edit : looking to attach proofs https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/issues/197 Edit : (adding more propaganda videos and evidences. Beware whenever a coin has shills of this quality. The last time I saw such shilling it ended pretty bad) Edit2 :The Knifeofpi2 episode and few other episodes (as seen in medium) are probably known to most. I only added such evidences that I felt are not much publicized. If you all want me to publish a fully evidenced article on why I am sceptical, well then, will try to do so once am done with all my work. And yet people believe its going to be the next people's currency [link] [comments]

First it was everyone was selling to pay their credit cards from Christmas. Then it was selling to pay taxes. But then the bull run triggers started and ALL failed... Don't worry the market will explode once.... Asia returns from Chinese New Year....errrrr uhhhh Wall Street gets their huge bonus checks....errrrr uhhhhh Once BTC bounces from $6k....errrrr uhhhhh After the CFTC meeting with US Congress.....errrr uhhhhhh All these institutional investors.......errrrr uhhhhhh Consensus 2018, yeah that's the ticket! I'm a contrarian investor, convince me now is a time to buy/sell Posted: 31 Mar 2018 09:42 PM PDT I bought FB at $20. VW after the emissions scandal. Apple after Steve Jobs died. Firearm stocks after shootings. BAC at $6. VGK after Brexit... The list goes on... When I see negative headlines I take note and often want to buy. I didn't start seriously following BTC until early 2016. I didn't invest because I found security to be too cumbersome, where mainstream investors would not invest. After seeing the run-up YE 2017, I took note, and clearly I had misread the potential. But I never invest under those run-up conditions... seeing the community feel the pain over the past 3 months has made me quite interested in reconsidering investing. I've done much research, and realize that crypto is more accessible and potentially more secure than ever, but my ultimate feeling is this type of investment is pure speculation at this point. I truly believe that 0 and 100k BTC price are possible outcomes over the next 3 years. Beyond that, Crypto is dangerous for the average investor, and especially the computer illiterate. There's a place in a portfolio for speculation, but you have to be ready for a 100% loss. Are you a buyer or a seller? Honestly, I would be more interested to hear from sellers. Dear Mark Zuckerberg, If you are selling my data without my permission, at least pay me for this. Posted: 31 Mar 2018 06:57 AM PDT Facebook became in some ways a big part of my life, kinda like Google, Twitter, Amazon, and few other websites Iʼm using online. After reading about Cambridge Analytica scandal I was mad. Mad because I got used to Facebook and I think twice before closing my account. If instead of Facebook, it was a small online website that sells my data, I would probably close my account, write an email to the support and 'burnʼ them on few reviews websites and Reddit, But because itʼs Facebook, I really feel like no matter what I do, it wonʼt help. I did some research about data privacy rules/law and I found out that on the 25th of may 2018 there is an event call GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years. The GDPR is a regulation that is set to help strengthen data protection for individuals located within the European Union. You can read more about it here: https://www.eugdpr.org/ Beside that, a blockchain company now plan to reward users for the uses advertisers make of the data. It means that if Facebook or any other website want to use my data, they will need to pay for it. https://medium.com/@liberdy/a-new-player-is-changing-the-game-foradvertisers-e8a7a8b878cb [link] [comments]

The best gauge for when to buy or sell BTC/ETH? Your own emotional state. Posted: 31 Mar 2018 10:50 PM PDT Everyone says to buy low, sell high and to avoid the emotional state of the masses but very few actually do. Most people (including me and you) are part of the masses, we are the sheep, and so the best way is to read our own emotional state. Now this metric is not perfect, you might actually have a good degree of separation between emotions and investing, let's assume you don't (you probably don't). Also, this advice only pertains to investment assets that already have a following and provide value (BTC, ETH, RE dev, stocks, bonds). Altcoins are just an every man's form of venture capital/angel investing. When you find yourself ranting and raving about BTC/ETH, telling your friends, your family to invest. When you feel the most confident about the technology, when your absolutely high off the potential of the tech. When you start convincing yourself that you "believe" in the tech (even though you don't understand it AT ALL). When you start getting obsessed about decentralized this and decentralized that, while bad mouthing financial institutions for holding crypto conspiracies. When the future seems bright, and you feel like you are an early investor into something magical.....that my friend, is the sign from the universe to sell. When you lose absolute faith in the technology, when you are despondent. When you start calling it a scam, a ponzu scheme. When you see no future in BTC/ETH. When there is no end in sight to the bear market. That my friend, is also a sign from the universe to buy. It's a simply metric, not saying it's 100%. It's still emotionally based, but I'll bet my shoe it'll be more reliable than TA or candlestick bullshit. [link] [comments]
