Spending some of my BCH holdings to help a less fortunate friend Posted: 30 Mar 2018 03:08 PM PDT A friend of mine's computer broke, it was old (I believe from 2011?) and when I asked him why he hasn't replaced it he told me he was embarrassed to say he couldn't afford it. I've had an incredible stroke of luck with crypto the last year or so, and I know my old friend hasn't had the easiest time financially the last few years. I decided I'm going to buy him a new PC using some of my BCH holdings. He doesn't know yet, I'm keeping it a surprise until it arrives at his house with a note. Hopefully he'll like it :) [link] [comments]

Why aren't miners switching to BCH? Posted: 31 Mar 2018 12:49 AM PDT Profitability seems pretty close between BCH and BTC. Why haven't the big supporters of BCH (who also own big farms) switching to BCH? What will it take? [link] [comments]
PSA: Bitmain is selling off our contact info to spammers Posted: 30 Mar 2018 08:06 AM PDT I have a policy of using <company>@<my domain> whenever I sign up for an online account, since <any address>@<my domain> comes to my email account. This lets me track who is selling my contact information because if I receive an email from <company A> which has <company B>@<my domain> as the email target, I know that <company B> has sold/informed <company A> about me. This morning, I received an email from liteBit.eu. It was spam, of course, the 'your invoice' link was a link to some vet site, nothing to do with crypto at all. The interesting thing is:
I co-locate my miners, and no other company has ever been given the co-location address. This puts the ball firmly in Bitmain's park. They are selling our contact details to spammers. [link] [comments]
