    $24K Stolen by Kraken.com

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 02:16 AM PST

Over a month and $24K is in limbo, can't trade, can't withdraw. Their system just gives some stupid error, like "null" and a red line, without any other details.

Multiple tickets, opened, escalated, tried to write everywhere to them on social media, no response.

Anyone else experience a similar issue? Is there any chance to get the money back? Do they just ignore all tickets and try to pocket all the money before they close shop for good?

Financially ruined. Learn from my mistakes

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 12:20 PM PST

People say don't out all your eggs in one basket but I believed in the project so much that I did. I put everything I had in crypto investment (50% of my life savings) into nano near ATH. As the price started dropping, I put in the remaining 50% of my life savings to dollar cost average because I genuinely believed that with the rebranding, binance announcement, I would see a profit but the price kept dropping.

I was an idiot to buy using bitgrail instead of kucoin and now I have officially lost everything due to the alleged hack. I wish I could have withdrawn to my wallet but withdrawals were disabled.

I was also an idiot to put in more than I could lose. Money I had saved up by working so hard. I lost $120,000.

I believe in the project and idk how I am going to live with myself watching the price of nano soar over the months without me not having anything to invest in it.

Please don't do what I did. Please be cautious with your investments, diversify, and don't invest more than you are willing to lose. I know we all think that won't happen but you can...like I did...your money, your happiness and most importantly, your mental health.

This is so depressing. I feel so defeated in life. This was money that was going to go to my further education, my wedding, honeymoon, any travel plans, my downpayment. This puts me back at least 7-8 years in my life.

EDIT: Thanks for all the messages, they really mean a lot. I am as disgusted and disappointed in myself about all the ways this could have been avoided as some of you are.

I just wanted to remind you all that some people in this sub are so greedy they would fund a centralised dictatorship just to make some money.

OmiseGO and Vitalik meet with SEC of Thailand

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 11:19 PM PST

According to OmiseGO's twitter, they and Vitalik have had "fruitful discussions with the SEC of Thailand" - link

This comes just a couple of days after their announcement that they signed a memorandum of understanding with the Thailand government about a digital ID system to be rolled out in Thailand.

They are also due to release the open beta of their white label wallet SDK within a week or so.

I see great things coming for OmiseGO very soon.

I think DigiPulse solves a difficult problem

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 08:17 PM PST

I found DigiPulse by searching for an answer to a question I've had for a while.

What happens to your coins if you die?

It's a pretty big one, most people in the Crypto space don't include their Crypto-assets in their will. If they die, it's very likely that their coins will be abandoned. If they're stored locally, they'll just sit. If they're on an exchange, at somepoint they will be absorbed by the exchange.

Digipulse aims to solve this issue by creating a service that allows users to secure their assets in a way that in the case of the owners death, the assets are made available to the rightful inheritors.

I think it's a pretty neat solution to a question that will become more and more common as Crypto becomes more mainstream.

Why I think DGPT is a worthwhile buy:

Unlike many other tokens, DGPT has a real use case and solves a problem which is inevitable as Cryptos become more mainstream.

The team is very active, although the developers aren't big shots (yet), they've demonstrated their coding abilities through their Github. The beta user interface will be available this week.

DGPT has an ultra-low market cap. The ICO finished recently so it's still early stages. This is a great time to become a holder. The total supply is really low (16m) and a large coin burn is coming in late April, increasing scarcity and reducing the total supply to 5M.

Digipulse is advised by Cristobal Alonso, the CEO of StartUpWiseGuys, one of the biggest startup accelerators in the EU. These sorts of accelerators work with teams and mentors from all backgrounds. As DGPT is advised by Cristobal, they are in a prime position to connect with useful people in the startup ecosystem.

The team became finalists in TechChill '18, are being featured in an upcoming Forbes article an were named one of the ten fastest growing blockchain solution providers of 2018.

A new exchange listing is coming on the 2nd of April. This coupled with the token burn in late April are likely to cause a price spike.

If you're looking for a token with an actual use case that isn't just vaporware, I think that DGPT is worth a look.

Do you agree? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Suppoman shills 'Titanium', next day 16 million tokens were stolen

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 07:20 PM PST

Suppoman has moved on to his next ICO, 'Titanium', I do not know anything about Titanium but he made this tweet promoting it.

    https://twitter.com/MichaelSuppo/status/966123339457748994

That's right guys, its time to BUY BUY BUY!

This morning, Crypto Bobby messaged me privately about what was going on and then even tweeted out warning people about this ICO

    https://twitter.com/crypto_bobby/status/966336220367327234

Before I even had a chance to look into Titanium... they had been hacked by the afternoon.

    https://twitter.com/crypto_bobby/status/966489437294268417

Huge shoutout to Bobby for warning people about this, glad to see other people being on top of trying to protect the community when they realize something is going on.

As for Suppoman, I would be very, very careful with anything he is promoting. At the end of the day it's fine to promote ICO's as long as you are straightforward about your position and disclose if you are being paid to promote it. But once someone starts to have a series of promotions go array I would be extremely careful with trusting their judgement on upcoming projects (That stolen money is going somewhere).

The Potential of Request Network ($REQ) and a Beginner Introduction

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 10:29 AM PST

Withdrew $10,000 from CoinBase/GDAX on January 10th, still missing & no response from support.

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 02:21 PM PST

I submitted a wire withdrawal from GDAX to my linked, verified checking account on GDAX.

    • Type: Withdraw
    • Time: 01:49:53 am - Jan 10, 2018 UTC
    • Amount (USD): 10,000.0000
    • Status: Complete
    • Estimated Payout: 08:49:54 pm - Jan 12, 2018 UTC

Since it never arrived, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and contacted my bank first, who then put me in touch with their wire department. They told me nothing was rejected on their end and they show nothing inbound.

So after that, I contacted GDAX's customer support on the night of January 12th since the estimated arrival passed. They told me they can't provide any specifics, because the payment department is it's own entity, but they told me what they could do was 'escalate' the support ticket/claim to the highest priority so it would be handled quickly.

That was 41 days ago, today. In those six weeks since my money has been missing, I contacted support nearly a dozen times, in which they told me the same thing - they cannot do anything but escalate the ticket.

My favorite part? The one customer service agent was polite and appeared so heart-felt, that he reassured me I could directly contact him via his e-mail that he would e-mail me from. He sent me an initial e-mail, like he said he would. After I heard nothing again for about a week, I responded to his e-mail in which I got an automated e-mail response saying to not respond to this e-mail and that there would be no replies - lol...

Then, I get one generic e-mail from GDAX support asking along the lines of "have you received your money yet? If not, respond to this e-mail" blah blah. I responded to that on January 28th, and have not received a response since.

One day, I will be happy to say that I was in the first 600k of this subreddit. Next stop: 1 million subscribers.

    Happy HODLing!
