    Norwegian banks looking at Ripple

    Posted: 31 Jan 2018 02:29 PM PST

Lasse Meholm has been working on block technology for several years in both DNB and Nordea. - Crypto cats and other smaller crypto currencies will probably not survive this correction. The digital currencies that have a future are Ripple and similar technologies. We are looking at Ripple in DNB, and SEB has started using it.

During the annual financial conference of Norway's Financial Analysts Association on last Thursday it was held half an hour to a somewhat unusual feature. In the midst of lectures on new bank lapses and new accounting rules for 2018, the opportunities and challenges of cryptic currencies were raised. Ripple was drawn among crypto currencies positively. - It goes immediately. This will be used by banks in the future to transfer money quickly. I am convinced that the concept has come to be says Rimstad. EY

    Hope for Ripple

    Posted: 31 Jan 2018 11:42 AM PST

I believe Ripple will do well and possibly boom soon.

Honestly I'm tired of all these posts claiming Ripple will hit $x in certain amount of time. I don't know if it will or won't but recently will all the positive news coming out, I have to believe it will go great. If it doesn't my life still goes on.

Ripple has brought some fun into my life as well as something to be excited for. That alone has made me happy. When ripple does take off, I can say with confidence that I held along with many of you guys.

I hope everyone has a great week and lets keep supporting ripple.

    Economic Mysteries of the Zerp

Some economic concepts can be surprisingly counter-intuitive. Have you heard about Jevon's paradox and the velocity of money? Perhaps, but I will point out how these apply to a real-time payments system, and connect the dots for you.

In addition, I've conducted a SWOT analysis of Ripple's fit for four different industries.

Read for yourself and tell me if I'm missing something!

Hope you enjoy the read - please leave any feedback below.

“There is one silver lining in this current market onslaught, though. More specifically, the overall cryptocurrency trading volume is on the rise once again, and the XRP trading volume is no exception. With US$1.585 billion in 24-hour volume”

So for those who bought high!

    Posted: 31 Jan 2018 11:54 AM PST

So I realized something. So lets say you bought 200 XRP at 2$ (Wich I did). Och that hurts at this moment. However folks look its at 1$ at the moment. So lets say we buy another 200XRP.

    Dollar XRP Average
    400$ 200XRP 2$
    200$ 200XRP 1$
    600$ 400XRP 1.5$

So your new average price becomes 1.5$. Meaning that in order to get profit you just have to buy moar XRP. Keep buying, hodling and enjoy some appropriate music folks!

I am not responsible for any financial lose this shitpost might have caused!

    Any new speculations about xPool?

    Posted: 31 Jan 2018 09:37 PM PST

The XRP dev team are constantly talking about working towards Decentralization of XRP (more than BTC) but as of now the only way to adopt successful decentralization is to have PoW or PoS--incentive.

I know that you can run nodes right now for Ripple but there is no incentive for doing so. So I am wondering if xPool is related to running nodes with incentive. Or in relation to Codius, we can crowd pool XRP like ETH for new ICOs. Any thoughts?

SBI Crytpo Currencies to launch ICO, also SBI VC already in limited customer trials

    Posted: 31 Jan 2018 12:58 PM PST

Didn't know if this had been mentioned anywhere else, I had saw the news about SBI using XRP for the initial pairing, but don't think I've seen up until now a confirmation they are going to issue their own ICO as well, that is service backed and asset backed.. seems pretty interesting and could possibly be launched on ripplenet as its supposedly possible for ICO use but I think where it differs from etherum is an ICO would have to piggyback XRP tokens which they would basically rebrand some XRP's as their own and it would have a separate price, though im not sure I haven't found much info on how ICO's would work using ripplenet, anyway here is the link might need to translate the page.
