Long time lurker but after this recent dip in the market its obvious to me that BCH is the most undervalued coin by a long shot. I am selling anything i have in the profit and dumping it into BCH.

    Posted: 30 Jan 2018 10:28 PM PST

I love ETH but if ETH is worth over 1k then BCH should realistically be closer to 2-4k. The total amount of ETH in circulation VS total amount of BCH in circulation tells me that valuation is highly unbalanced. I'm doing this gradually in case some of my coins still increase but I am finally convinced that BTC is a fraud and has strayed away from the original intent that BTC was created for as peer to peer electionric crash. I got into crypto because I love the technology and its ability to forever change the course of humanity forever by freeing our selfs from Uncle Sams debt/inflation system as well as creating finacial security for everyone around the world. I dd not care about price or getting rich quick. I hope it bottoms out hardcore so I can buy tons cheap BCH and some of the other coins I believe will survive a 95-99% BTC crash and decouple from the market due to genuine use purposes and roadmaps, I doubt there's much more than 5-10 other coins that have real potential in the entire crypto space and that's insane. Fundamentals always win in the long run. As of today I am officially switching my crypto holdings to 85% BCH.

I love this community and how it is focused on fundementals and intellegent debate. Keep it up but maybe stop bashing other coins so much and talk more and more about why BCH is actually the best thing since Jesus or sliced bread.

Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash needs rapid merchant adoption now to make it unstoppable by regulation or to ease regulation.

    Posted: 30 Jan 2018 02:56 PM PST

If we get enough adoption, it is likely merchants will pressure regulators to ease up on taxes and further regulation.

All throughout August (and still to this day) people from everywhere were saying BCH wouldn't work. We had trouble getting wallets to support us and few exchanges.

But now look where we are - Huge amounts of support! Heaps of exchanges! Lots of adoption! Lots of use!

Be proud of what you've achieved r/btc!

NIST corrected their paper to say Bitcoin Cash is the forked off coin. :(

8.1.2 - Bitcoin Cash (BCH or BCC1) In 2017, Bitcoin users adopted an improvement proposal for Segregated Witness (known as SegWit, where transactions are split into two segments: transactional data, and signature data) through a soft fork. SegWit made it possible to store transactional data in a more efficient form. However, a group of users had different opinions on how Bitcoin should evolve – and developed a hard fork of the Bitcoin blockchain titled Bitcoin Cash. Rather than implementing the SegWit changes, the developers of Bitcoin Cash decided to increase the maximum blocksize (additionally the developers made changes to other aspects of the system, such as the difficulty adjustment algorithm). When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

The ticker used for Bitcoin Cash differs depending on the exchange; some use BCH, some BCC

    Todays market

    Posted: 30 Jan 2018 06:49 PM PST

In the last 24 hours the overall market cap is down 10%. Bitcoin down 9% as of writing this article and altcoins are suffering as well. The biggest gainer was Revain with a 55% increase. This company allows its platform users to leave feedback on products, as well as services and companies and receive payment for it. (straight from business summary)

Bloomberg announced today that U.S. Regulators Subpoena Crypto Exchange Bitfinex, Tether. This is nothing new for the crypto community. Its better to get this tether thing behind us and over with.

While this is not good for the short term, we needed this to happen for the longer term growth.

I am using these dips as chances to take positions and accumulate coins. Although the next few days or weeks might not be green, the strong coins and platforms will survive and come back stronger.

    Sit tight and hold.
