    Automatically re-balance your portfolio.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 01:46 PM PST

I've noticed recently, even as a holder, big price swings are changing my portfolio percentages frequently. I like to keep a substantial portion in the bigger cap coins with smaller percentages dedicated to more risky tokens.

Since its been tedious to manually re-balance my ~20 coins every couple weeks, Ive decided to write some software to automate the process. Basically track and auto trade ratios back or notify the user when your diversification changes from desired parameters.

Just probing for interest and suggestions, as i'd like to share it with the public when finished.

Stellar is the most undervalued marketcap

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 06:04 PM PST

This coin should not be in the neighborhood of verge and tron.

Partnered with IBM and similar tech as ripple? This should at least be in the IOTA, Cardano range. Top 7 for sure. Stellar s going to bust out soon.

    What's the next XRB?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 04:41 PM PST

Lol....I know. XRB is new and climbing, with a long way to go. I feel so upset that my funds didn't get deposited in time for me to snatch 5,000 of them at a dollar each. I'm now anxiously searching for the next one, the diamond in the rough. Just like all of you are. Shill me, what's reddit gonna be all about in 2 weeks?

Bitcoin Gold STILL worth over 5 billion USD..?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 12:11 PM PST

    I'm puzzled.

In my opinion, this currency doesn't have any value... Can someone please explain how it is justifiably worth 5 billion dollars?

Currencies like BTG concern me, it's worrying that something seemingly so useless and scammy can be valued at $5 Billion dollars...

    Why are people buying it?

I'm sure there are many of people with the same opinion as me, I'm hoping to hear some reasoning behind why BTG will ever be worth remotely what it is currently valued at.

    Bitcoin lending rates SKYROCKETING, why?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 08:53 PM PST

Poloniex lending rate is 50-100x higher than usual at a whopping 1.5% right now... what's going on? Clearly MAJOR movement expected in BTC.

    What makes XRP value rise?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 01:00 PM PST

Aside from the market itself. What makes the intrinsic value of XRP rise? It seems that there will never be a shortage of XRP tokens, but will the price rise when more and more banks use this technology?

    EDIT: just came across this

Looking for some understanding of Coinmarketcap.com prices vs exchanges.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 08:45 PM PST

I got into digital currencies awhile back and have a relatively low risk portfolio, but today I put a small wager of $25 on a very risky coin, EMB. The coin was experiencing some crazy growth and I thought I'd try jumping on the train. The main thing that I am confused about right now is that coinmarketcap.com is showing a price that is, on average, about 10x greater than the price you can sell or trade it on coinsmarkets.com or yobit.com. I haven't noticed anything even close to that large of a discrepancy in any of the coins I own or have been tracking so far. Is this something very unusual or does it happen often? The "price" of the coin went up around 600% while I owned it, yet somehow I was losing money on the sale. Thanks for any clarification.

KuCoin and their BNB-equivalent token: KCS

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 12:48 PM PST

KuCoin (non ref link) is a new exchange which started mid-september this year and is a Binance competitor. Currently their trading volume is 100 times less than Binance. They have a exchange-related token called KuCoin shares. It has a circulating supply of 100M tokens. Every token will pay you 50% of the daily collected trading fees on the exchange.

Why is this a huge thing?

KuCoin allows community to vote on coins. The massively popular RaiBlocks, XRB, is going to be added on the exchange soon. We all know that the XRB volume is quite high and I suspect a significant amount will go to this exchange. Due to the nature of these coin additions coins with a high volume will be added (because they are popular).

This results in a volume increase on the exchange. Due to that, KCS payouts will be higher and therefore the demand of KCS will go up. Also, people want to hold KCS instead of selling it due to the dividend. This all combined has an extreme positive feedback effect. I suspect this token value will explode (already doubled today). Get your ass on this exchange today and buy some KCS!
