    Bitcoin Cash is best positioned to be the #1 everyday cryptocurrency. It is the only one supported by both Coinbase & Bitpay, and also have a low transaction fee.

    In order for a coin to have a realistic shot at becoming the everyday cryptocurrency, it needs to be supported by both Coinbase (largest fiat gateway) & Bitpay (largest merchant payment processor).

    Only two coins meet that criteria: BTC & BCH.

    And between those two, here are the median transaction fees:

    • Bitcoin BTC: $21

    • Bitcoin Cash BCH: 5c

    BTC transaction fees are literally 400 times higher.

    If Bitpay adds LTC & ETH, they might be options too, but their median transaction fees are still much higher (~50c).

    I don't know what the eventual winning cryptocurrency will be, but the next few years will likely belong to Bitcoin Cash.

    This will be stickered in front of my POS machine shortly. I’m a chiropractor and table talk, where we chat about life and interesting things, is a big part of the job. Bitcoin Cash and crypto currencies come up daily.

    Kyle Torpey (@kyletorpey), Forbes Contributor, calls Bitcoin Cash "Bcash" then lies about LTC fees by around by around 6x, to make BCH look bad, despite his source linked in the same article saying otherwise.

    Bcore fans claim "Nobody uses Bitcoin Cash". Yet, BCH is very new (Aug 2017), and is already 1 of only 2 coins supported by both Coinbase & Bitpay, and is already #2 in trading volume. For USAGE, BCH is already rocketing past other alt-coins that have been around for years.

    Just noticed that someone has a bot watching out for tips being given by /u/tippr, and then checking the target person's account against password lists. If they successfully log in, they then check the tippr balance & send any balance with the bot to the address 1Dn1uint1pMTrNXGyE3hQzyL6FJ8jpS1SD.

    Be careful, keep your reddit password up to date & not used anywhere else and watch your balance so it doesn't get stolen.

    aka Don't be a dingus like me and not update your password for years. Doh!

    What merchants are going to accept 30 - 50 dollar fees ? None bar Lambo dealers and real estate agencies. By restricting BTC to 1MB , BlockstreamCore have effectively started an attack - on nobody but themselves. They have created a situation where they are now under a permanent DoS - Denial of Service attack , due to BTC's utterly unusable system - which is only going to get worse. So stop wasting your time - just watch as they flail around attacking themselfs.

    Why did my Bitcoin transfer fee cost so much (33% of amount sent)? How can I avoid this in the future? I'm kinda new to this and need some help.

    Basically I transferred 0.00406527 BTC (~60 USD) from my Exodus Wallet to my Kucoin wallet to try and trade with on the exchange. What I was shocked to see was that all 0.005479 (~80 USD) of my BTC was taken out of my wallet leaving me with 0 in Exodus. As it turned out, the remaining 0.00141373 BTC had been charged as the transaction fee. That seems outrageously high to me as that'd make the transaction fee 33% of what was sent. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong? Does it have something to do with using Exodus and Kucoin specifically? What should I do in the future to avoid paying transaction fees this high?

    So I'm watching CNBC and they have a guest (Cathy Wood - CEO of Ark Investments) who got into GBTC in 2015. She says at some point Bitcoin might hard fork into being able to be usable for a store of value and as a transactional currency. Then they ask what about Bitcoin Cash.. and it's like the whole group turns into an anti-Bitcoin Cash narrative.

    Cathy Webb says the 21,000,000 limit makes Bitcoin Cash unusable as a currency (but apparently it's fine for Bitcoin?) One of the CNBC guys goes into this CNN-esque narrative about how Bitcoin Cash is controlled by only two people (Roger Ver and someone else) and they're both anarchists. He repeats it multiple times in multiple ways essentially saying Bitcoin is decentralized and no one person controls it while Bitcoin Cash is centrally owned and it's controlled mostly by a single person.

    Argh.. frustrating.. Obviously CNBC knows enough to know this is untrue - so it looks like CNBC is attacking Bitcoin Cash now.

    EDIT: The more I think about it.. How the hell does someone like Cathy Wood come on CNBC as some sort of 'Bitcoin Expert' and then proceed to demonstrate that she knows hardly anything about the cryptocurrency world? Like.. she runs a firm that invests millions into Bitcoin.. lol.

    Wow this is great. I just sent some BCH to the address. Cost almost nothing. And tippr bot had already left me a message that it was deposited by the time I had reloaded the app.
