Bitcoin Cash from Bitcoin core wallet Posted: 17 Dec 2017 01:24 PM PST Hi, I am trying to claim my BCC from a core wallet. I am trying to get my private keys to then sweep into a Bitcoin Cash wallet, but I can't quite figure it out. I am running the "dumpprivekey" command but I think I need to attach and address to the command. Can any give me some pointers? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Random .301911 in BCC in my wallet Posted: 17 Dec 2017 10:40 AM PST So this morning decided to check on the small amount of BTC in my Blockchain wallet. I log in and look to see that I have .0901911 in the Blockchain wallet. So was I just the lucky recipient of approximately $50 worth of Bitcoin Cash for some reason? Is it some endorsement for Bitcoin Cash by blockchain(I didn't hear of any, would thought it'd be out there on the reddit board if this was the case)? Or last, is the only explanation someone accidently sent their Bitcoin cash to my wallet's address?(if that last possiblility is what happened, why couldn't they have been nice enough to err a little worse & send at least something over $100 worth of BCC) Just to be clear, I still have the same amount of BTC in the account as I should have. They did not exchange it for me, besides I still would have a net total of $ in the account between the BTCs and BCCs. [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Dec 2017 09:56 AM PST Last time I designed a few logos for the Bitcoin Cash community Now I will:
Technologies I'm using - HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, Gulp, Jekyll, JAMstack, Git, C9 IDE, Adobe Illustrator & PS and others. PM me your project and I will pick the one that I find most interesting to work at. I will probably do 1 or 2 since I don't have much time, but I hope you guys appreciate the effort nevertheless. In my opinion everyone is being hit by FOMO/FUD these days (myself included, several times) and I find it hard to focus and be balanced in RL. Creating stuff for others, building things and focusing on the people and the amazing technologies we have - I found - makes me happy deep inside. We need people to care about others, build things for others, teach others what we learned the hard way and use the crypto currencies for real stuff (as we do with fiat). It's not all about the profit, at least for me and I hope you feel the same way. I will keep this updated in case something changes. [link] [comments]

Why don't we tip the newbies over at /r/bitcoin some bitcoin cash! Posted: 16 Dec 2017 07:10 PM PST So I've been seeing a lot of articles about how the new guys are joining bitcoin core due to FOMO. How about we tip those guys something like $0.05 or something and advertise bch like that? That'll definitely bring some people on board _^ [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Dec 2017 01:26 AM PST Hi guys, As much as i love BTC i'm also now investing into BCH due to 0 fee and fast transaction. I wish we did not have to split the users with 2 forks but i guess it was not possible to avoid. I watched a video interview with Amaury Sechet a few days ago and he made allot of sense and he seem to be down to earth pragmatic dude. Liked what i saw. So i decided to buy a few bcash (yes i like that name) and invest in this. Will be cool with the update where mixing the coins for privacy protection! Just cant understand why the price is stuck at 1800 all the time. As soon as it goes up it comes down to that level again. Any way i hope both forks can thrive and go to the moon :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Dec 2017 09:43 PM PST So I pay 0.001 BCH withdrawal fee with kraken which is $1.80 currently. And the actual mining fee I can see in the block explorer is 0.00001105, about $0.02... Now the tx is unconfirmed, is this ever going to get into a block? Kraken is drowning in support tickets/complaints, and no wonder, why don't they bloody increase their mining fee! edit: okay, it good confirmed.... I'm still a bit mad tho.... 1/100th of my fee actually went into the mining fee, I'm sure there will be increased periods of demand, where this tx would not have got confirmed for a long time. I think all exchanges need to be a bit more transparent as to what part of the fee is actually going into the mining fee. [link] [comments] |
