    Posted: 20 Nov 2017 08:19 PM PST

so just a few days after everyone start paying attention to Tether and start asking for more transparency they pull the plug and claim they got hacked? yeah I don't buy that...

Apparently Tether blacklisted the ~30,000,000 USDT they used to pump BTC yesterday.

That was the same address we identified as the "stealth Bitfinex wallet"yesterday.

All this while their transparency page is still down. No explanation offered.

    Speculations welcome.

To the Censorship loving tyrants in /r/Bitcoin, don't Say Bitcoin.com didn't warn you! "In the unlikely event that the 2MB block size increase portion of Segwit2x fails to activate, Bitcoin.com will immediately shift all company resources to supporting Bitcoin Cash exclusively."

Just a friendly reminder that a $30M hack on Tether caused an $8B (6%) drop in Bitcoin

    Posted: 20 Nov 2017 09:00 PM PST

This is in response to those who claimed a $675M market cap coin couldn't impact BTC's price in any significant way.

r/BitcoinMarkets/ mods are censoring mention of Tethers when the news just caused $600 BTC drop

    Posted: 20 Nov 2017 08:11 PM PST

They are actively f*cking over the subscribers there by censoring timely news that is very relevant to the BTC market.

Just incredible. How corrupt and evil can you get??!?

(and yes I realize I will get banned from there now, but good riddance. I feel sorry for the people who post there and visit that sub).

Relax, the bitcoin.com wallet doesnt actually let noobs lose bitcoins by accidentally sending them to a BCH wallet

    Posted: 20 Nov 2017 01:22 PM PST

I tested out what happens if you send it bitcoin by mistake, and yes, I sacrificed a $20 TX fee to make this happen. All it does is create a separate BTC wallet with the same address, and your BTC goes there. No coins are lost.

Roger Ver added the BCH wallet IN ADDITION to the BTC wallet on the Bitcoin.com app. /r/Bitcoin has twisted his words in the update released. They are trying to fool people into believing that only BCH wallets are created by default.

    Posted: 20 Nov 2017 09:55 AM PST

The misinformation and propaganda campaign on r/bitcoin is staggering. They are currently lambasting Roger and shamelessly brigading the Bitcoin.com app ratings with 1 star votes over this. Amazing how they can spin this into "Roger is scamming everybody" when what he did was make it easier for people to send and receive BCH.

This was their "known" address on the Tether Rich List before it was taken down for maintenance due to the "hack". ~15 million USDT has poured in through the past three hours. Expect BTC/USDT to spike momentarily?
