Best / safest XRP lending (earning) platform

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 03:26 AM PDT

    Hello,

I own some XRP that I would like to lend for interest (for BTC and LTC I use celsius which unfortunatelly does not support XRP)

What secure service would you recommend?

I discovered coinloan.io that offers 7.2% on XRP but there is very few info about their legitimity.

So what other services would you recomend ? (hodlnout only offers 3,5% which seems very low)

    Thanks

SEC CASE - Just want some clarification without some fanboy attacks(heavily invested with the rest of y'all)

I've looked into why the SEC was suing ripple and I read bunch of stuff noting on how XRP is really centralized due to the fact that the ripple blockchain is controlled by ripple so they essentially can lock you out if need be. Ripple has full access to ripple nodes and they decide all their technicalities; which is another centralized factor.

Ripple's top100 account accounts for 97% of the total money supply, an alarming proportion. Ripple does not use PoW or PoS, but has its own unique consensus mechanism. Its algorithm enables a group of nodes to form a consensus-based on a special node list. The initial special node list is like a club. To accept a new member, 51% of the members of the club must vote. The consensus follows the "51% rights" of these core members, and outsiders have no influence.

The claim about if ripple labs disappears, XRP will still function I am still unsure of and not sure I understand if someone more knowledgeable about this subject can elaborate.

Again, my intent is not to attack ripple as I have a considerable amount of money invested in XRP and I do believe in their potential but I just want someone to explain it to me like I'm four on why XRP is decentralized and should be considered a currency and not a security despite all these factors and the huge power Ripple labs holds. How are they not just a bunch of think-outside-the-box bankers trying to introduce a security to us wrapped in a cryptocurrency shell? If someone were to help me identify and answer my concerns I would be very very grateful. Thanks.
