Make your project BASED - Just add FUD

    Posted: 22 Apr 2021 08:22 AM PDT

This writing shows you 3 ways to use FUD for your own projects benefit.

The most obvious way to make FUD constructive is to answer to that FUD in a constructive manner. A prime example of this is Dracula Protocol. Their community engagement in Telegram is golden when it comes to FUD shared on the channel. Everyone is ready to answer and knows where to find the answers.

A smart project makes sure their devs pop on your channel a few times a week and are ready to answer any questions. The only kind of FUD that should be banned if a mod notices someone stating the same FUD over and over again even if they have received a clear answer multiple times. Then the fudders are only after a lower entry point and in fact they are hurting the project.

Still, letting FUD be open on your channel is dealing openly with constructive criticism, and that makes you BASED.

-> Use FUD to deal with the weak spots.

Another effective way to use FUD for the benefit of your project is to make your FUD as stupid as possible. Let's say a project has locked their liquidity forever. That means they really can't rug. Here a stupid FUD argument would be "THIS IS A RUG, SELL NOW!".

When someone is reading this conversation they get concerned and want to know if the fudder is right. This is why a_concerned_person_pays_attention to the comment dealing with the FUD - and when people pay attention, it is way easier to shill your solid project to them.

I have seen this working great on a project called Toad Network. They also have a weekly FUD Friday to dig up the weak spots of their progress to deal with any yellow flags that new people entering would raise.

    -> Use FUD for attention.

One last thing one can use FUD with is to build anticipation. This is a double-edged sword and should be used wisely.

If you have a diamond solid project that has the best history, has the most open and high-skilled team and real trust with community, you can make_them_wait. Let's say you have your code openly on Github to anyone to go through and people can see you are building it every week. Still the launch day gets delayed a few times. This creates fear, uncertainty and doubt in the weakest minds in the community. Now what happens then?

The people that know the project well will notice the FUD that someone is experiencing. They will point out facts to this person and educate them more about the project, about the tech, the history of the team, about the upcoming marketing, partnerships etc.

Also, the well-educated may become bored waiting. One bad thing that can happen is that they start becoming silent in the community. But a half of them will start helping the project, building themselves, making memes, writing Medium articles, Reddit posts or do daily tweets. This is all fueled_by_anticipation_in_them - And in the end it pays out big time.

But as I mentioned, this is a double-edged sword and you need to know your community and be very transparent of your doings and the development and have a long history. One project that now has this advantage is Ethereum with it's future scaling. Another one would be Dracula Protocol already mentioned above in this writing.

-> You use FUD to build anticipation in your own mind.

Comment below your ways to use FUD for your benefit without hurting a project. :)

How do I start investing in Bitcoin? Need some pointers.

    Posted: 22 Apr 2021 08:40 AM PDT

I was a fool not to invest in Bitcoin when I had a chance and spare cash 2 years ago, but it seemed like a bubble, and I didn't want to risk losing money. I thought that a digital currency that is not backed by gold had no value at all, and boy was I wrong. Watching Peter Schiff's anti-crypto propaganda was a huge mistake tbh.

I changed my mind after I read Satoshi's white paper and understood the basics of crypto. I can't say that I've become a 100% crypto optimist, but investing in Bitcoin is what I need now. I know that paper money continues to lose its value because of manipulations with supply and rates, and it's not good. I'm the only breadwinner in the family, and I can't lose my savings now. Everyone here needs my support, so I can't just sit and wait for divine intervention. I'm ready to invest approximately $2000 now. A big sum for a guy who lost his job 3 months ago.

I've already opened a free SpectroCoin Euro IBAN account, but I don't know what to do next. I have no sufficient experience in investing or forex trading, especially with crypto. When is the best time to invest? How much should I invest at once? I'm really confused because I can't find any comprehensive guide on the internet. It's full of suspicious links to scams and deceptive offers. One of my friends told me that forex brokers usually help beginners and create investment strategies for them. Not sure, but the majority of them still don't mess with the crypto field. It seems this subreddit is the only place I can turn to for some practical info.

So my question is, what's the best way to understand crypto investing? What would you recommend to a beginner like me?

Thank you in advance for any help you could offer.
